Thanks for taking the time to learn a little bit about me. My name is James and am originally from the Houston area. After working in the human resources, development, and non-profit spaces in the US, I was offered an opportunity to utilize my talents as a regional HR consultant based overseas.

Living and traveling across the globe (currently 21 countries) has allowed me to experience more than I could have dreamed - the world is an incredible place and the people I've met along the way are what make life truly beautiful! As a result, my perspective has grown, my biases challenged, and my eyes opened to the wonder of the world around me.

After four years, my family moved back to the US and we currently live in North Carolina.

How Beacon Began

Living in the Middle East, I was constantly struck by how many businesses had outdated websites and incomplete information. As a consumer, it was frustrating to search for accurate information. "There has to be a better way," I thought to myself.
